THE Match Report: Charlton 0 - 0 Watford

What the heck is going on!? A match where we, as a so called established Premiership side, should definately win proved a much tougher challenge than it necessarily needed to be.
We started the match well with a 4-4-1-1 formation, with Jerome Thomas starting his first competitive match since returning from injury which was promising, and almost straight away, Dennis Rommedahl had a clear path at goal but decided to take it inside and then have his shot blocked. Andy Reid looked promising with a great shot and a free kick but the deadlock was still not broken at the break.
Again in the second, we had dominance, but Watford missed a sitter which clearly could have won the match. There really isn't much else to say about the match. Chris Powell got a great reception when he entered the field of play with 5 minutes to go.
One great thing about Chrissy is that he obviously keeps Charlton's faithful close to his heart. As usual he was the last player to leave the Valley pitch, cue the "ooooooooooooooooooooooo's", the tunnel stayed long and out runs the Legend to recreate his infamous tunnel jump once again.James - Staff Writer
